Faxion Online Closure

Quoted from Cooldown

Dear Faxion community members,

It's with an extremely heavy heart that I write to inform you of the upcoming discontinuation of Faxion live services. This week, we will begin the process of ending live service, starting with the immediate discontinuation of store purchases, online registration, and client downloads, with final server closure scheduled to commence within the next 30 days.

We’re eternally grateful for all the support, feedback, and competition our players have provided through thick and thin. Faxion’s development was a Herculean effort that some said was impossible given the timeframe and resources we had, and we’re proud to have delivered a PvP-driven experience that people could enjoy. Alas, all good things must come to an end.

If you have any epic stories, fond memories, or tales of glory that you’d like to share from your time in Limbo, please share them here. We’d love to relive the great times we’ve had with you all working on Faxion, as developers and as players.

I speak for the entire Faxion Team when I say: Thank you for all the support you’ve shown. Slay on, friends -- one last time!

- The Faxion Team

Faxion Online was a free-to-play, persistent world MMORPG designed at its core to deliver a high impact Player vs. Player (PvP) game experience. Set within the world of Limbo; players join the forces of Heaven or Hell as they fight for control over the territories of the Seven Deadly Sins in an ongoing epic battle that relies upon team coordination and player skill to determine the outcome.

It was a pretty interesting PVP game that I played. Originally, I had intended to write an article on it after my own computer was repaired, alas when I finally got my computer back and tried to update the game, what I saw was this notice that the game is closing.

A last look at the game called "Faxion Online":

It was fun while it lasted.
